This is my second black pair. It took years but I eventually wore the first pair out. The material is slightly different but lovely. They really do fit and feel like slippers. I also have a navy pair. In all honesty, I’d own many more in many other colors if free shipping were offered on one pair…

This is my third pair of the ballet skimmers in black. I also own them in navy blue, beige, & pink. They are my favorite shoes ever! Someone stops me to comment on how cute my shoes are every time I wear them! (BTW—bring back the pink; I need to replace those too!)
I can't say enough about this company or the shoes! I have horrible feet for dress shoes. I mostly can't wear high heels anymore and have never had a comfy, well-fitting pair of flats in my life. This is my sixth pair of apropos. I get lots of compliments when I wear them. The new ones are plain black so I can be casual or dressy wearing them. They are so comfortable.
Size 8 was tight so returned for 8.5. Talked to Cathy in office who was very helpful and well informed. Still waiting for 8.5, no word on shipment yet. Will let you know when they arrive.
This is my second pair of black shoes; the 4th pair of Apropos shoes I've purchased since I came across them in a little shop on Cape Cod a few years ago. I LOVE them, and I get compliments almost every time I wear them. My feet need TLC, after 30 years on my feet as a teacher. I feel as if I'm wearing slippers; yet , I have the support I need. And, best of all, they look stylish! I'm a believer!

Years ago I was dragging myself around Boston, feet aching, when i spotted this shoe kiosk at Faneuil Hall and saved my feet. Over the years I returned for many more pairs. The kiosk is no more, so I'm very happy I can find these shoes online now.

Went with the basic black. Like the stretchy fabric, as I've recently gotten gout. Shoes are really cute, lightweight, and remind me of ballet slippers. Color choices are terrific.
I like the look of the shoe and it is comfortable. I just wish there was more padding in the heel for when I would be doing an extended amount of walking.
Love, love. Love Apropos! I get tons of compliments on these shoes! And the customer service can’t be beat! I ordered them to take on a cruise with me, but they called me to let me know that their production team was on vacation and that it would be delayed. I told them I was going to be gone for three weeks and asked if they could hold off, sending them until I got back, they said of course no problem and true to two days before I got back, they sent them. I now have six pairs of these and love every one of them. I am extremely hard to fit and their personalized service when you tell them what you need is amazing. If you have difficult feet please be sure to give these a try.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable and classy! I sometimes have trouble with form-fitting shoes because I have a wide forefoot, but this fabric is stretchy enough that I can wear my regular size without trouble.

I’ve been wearing your wondereful shoes for perhaps thirty years. My first complaint is that this pair seem to have loose heels. They don’t hold to the heel when I walk.
